The selected label is not displayed after refreshing the page #1521

Environment: Browser / Version: Chrome 57.0.2987.133 (Desktop) Operating System: Windows 10

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Navigate to: https://webcompat.com/issues/5899 (for example).
  2. Click the gear icon next to "Labels".
  3. Select a label.
  4. Click the "Save & Close" button.
  5. Refresh the page.

Expected Behavior: The previously selected label is displayed.

Actual Behavior: The previously selected label is not displayed.

Notes:

  1. The issue is not reproducible on Firefox 52.0.1 Release (Desktop).

@softvision-sergiulogigan I'm having a hard time understanding this one.

Using staging.webcompat.com (let's use this so we don't mess with live issues):

Expected Behavior: The previously selected label is displayed.

Actual Behavior: The previously selected label is not displayed.

Can you upload some screenshots, or gif or something? I just tried and didn't see anything unexpected in Chrome.

Hi, @miketaylr Hope this helps: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0Bwy7JbK8dvvXQ19Td2xJcWFXdzg Unfortunately, the Screen Capture plug-in did not capture the Right Click menu - Refresh action, but it's there.

Environment: Browser / Version: 58.0.3029.81 (64-bit) (Desktop) Operating System: Linux Mint 18.1

For the gear which disappears in this video it is issue labels gear disappears after changing labels #1204
