Error: Call to undefined method JController::getInstance() #46

Hi, I installed Joomla 3.3.6 and Webfonts Component 2.0.7 and Plugin 2.0.2. I enabled the Plugin but when I try to open the Comonent I get this error:

mod_fcgid: stderr: PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined method JController::getInstance() in /var/www/clients/client2/web5/web/subdomain/administrator/components/com_webfonts/webfonts.php on line 24

Any Idea what I can do? Thanks. Dirk

Hi Dirk,

It sounds like you're trying to install Web Fonts for Joomla 2.5 site on a Joomla 3 site. The Joomla 3 compatible version is available as a commercial product (w/ support & updates) here:
