Thanks! A couple of questions:

Will this take care of creating the tag?
Where are the autogenerated docs coming from?

Yeah, creating the tag is part of the release process. I make a tag with the same name as the release (see the latest release for an example). Autogenerating the docs is a feature GitHub provides and can be done from the web or the GH CLI. (I use the latter.)
