It seems like the filtering on the dashboard, results in showing repositories which have at least some observations matching the search criteria. However, it also displays observations which do not match the search criteria in the resultant repositories. So as an example, if a search criteria is “patient status” "active", it will show only the repositories which matches the search criteria(at least one observation meeting the search criteria), however it also shows all the observations(also the ones not meeting the search criteria) in the result panel.
