Yeah, it's REALLY bad.

Options don't work for me at all, other than changing the background color. I
can't
switch to the other tabs.

Yes, the only options enabled right now are color and whether you want words
highlighted.

It should be sooner rather than later that it's fixed. I was mostly waiting on
finishing the functionality that the options are for.

By "doing the design" do you mean simple HTML/CSS code? I think that's
something anyone
could do (I mean, considering the number of people interested in this project,
I'm
probably not the best designer you could get), but if you want, I can do it for
you.

I always have problems getting my css to behave properly. I end up with extra
pixels
in places that make no sense and so forth. I'll probably roll out a simple
design
later this week so all the functionality is in place, and then let people
spruce it up
if they want.
Even though I put in that call to action, I don't actually have the backend
ready
anyway, so it'd be awkward to take up your offer now.

Same problem as people posted above. Options page is completely unusable.

Tom made it look better but this won't close until more of the options are
there. Will push tonight.

This issue is not very specific. What options should be added to consider this
closed?
Shouldn't we just close this and add separate issues for every desired feature?

Maybe, if we added a message saying that the other tabs were disabled pending
more features, so that people didn't expect them to work we could close this.
The main thing was having a nice design.

@ #11 Although the issue is not specific, it should be clear that the options
don't look nice. Some simple tweaks will resolve this issue for now, I guess.
- Remove the non-working tabs (don't even display them when they don't do
anything)
- Align the options and their labels so they look more clean.
- Without tabs, there is no need of the blue div around the options
I attached a screenshot of a simple form, which might even be enough to resolve
the issue.
However, there are many possible tweaks to this one even without adding more
features.
For example:
- a color chooser for the popup color
- screenshot or live demo of what the option will actually change/affect

@13 you probably don't remember how the options looked before but the look and
feel are basically adequate though some of your points are valid and can be
filed as separate bugs. Thanks for the detail and ss.
* Having the tabs is great because it foreshadows things to come. People love
that!
* Aligning the options is a good idea and could be filed.
* I guess you don't like blue, but it's not really a bug to not like a color.
The last two things are also fine ideas that could be separate bugs if someone
cared enough. :)

@14:
* No, it got nothing to do with the color blue, just that most times dark on
white is used to have the best readability. Most times colors are used to
indicate something. This is not always the case though, but why jump out of the
things the users are used to?
* Yes, you are right, some of the issues should be separate bugs/features.
* I disagree with you on that tabs that don't do anything are a good thing.
This is usability again. If there is a tab and I can't click it, why show it? I
mean, if this product has updates every week/month, then it would be understood
by the users. Because when they recieve an update, the tab might work now, and
they see that something is happening. But with no updates concerning this issue
for quite some time, there might be a misunderstanding and a feeling of
"unfinished/broken options".
Please note: I don't want to say "do more updates" or "you have to use white as
a background" or otherwise tell you how to make your product. These are just
thoughts of mine and maybe you can find some of them useful. :)

@15 Thanks for commenting, this is an open forum and your arguments may sway
the consensus even if I'm selfish.
@16 The options page was updated last week.

I added a few options that were simple to implement and removed the tabs for
now.
Also, aligning the options and their labels would make it nicer. It's not as
bad as before since replacing the Yes/No selections with checkboxes made it
look cleaner. I tried doing it for a while but CSS hates me. Can somebody do it?
