Universal Mac not Working #30

It appears that the plugin has stopped working on my intel mac. The option to save as a webp no longer appears. I attempted deleting the existing plugin and using a fresh version.

Thanks for the report. Could you provide the MacOS, Photoshop and WebPShop versions, both the working and failing ones?

OS: MacOS Big Sur 11.2.3 Current PS: Adobe Photoshop 2021 v. 22.3.1 Current (and prior) Plugin: WebPShop 0.3.3 Mac Universal Prior working version is PS 2021 v. 22.3

I am using the older version of PS in the meantime.

This is odd. Based on the Troubleshooting steps:

Are you able to see the plugin listed in the "About Plug-In" menu?
In which folder(s) did you copy the plugin?
Did you successfully run the xattr command?
Are earlier versions of WebPShop working better, such as the 0.3.2?

I already removed the plug-in from quarantine. I do that by habit now. Plug-In has remained in /Applications/Adobe Photoshop 2021/Plug-ins

I updated PS to troubleshoot and start from scratch, but it seems the plug-in is working again in the latest version of PS. The only difference I notice is that the file format appears as WebPShop rather than just webp.

Good to hear that it works. I recently tried to fix the name appearing in the "About Plug-In" to be "WebPShop" instead of just "WebP" but I guess it also changed it in the "Save As" prompt.
