Any fork available to incorporate annotations? Like the way

Hi there, first of all, really great work you guys are doing here.

I'm looking for insight into the possibility of this, I want to implement annotation as a plugin in a feature I'm working on. Perhaps integrating annotator js to do the heavy lifting on the client side? Or would this need to be written from the ground up? Does viewerJS give you access to the document structure in some way? If so, I'm guessing only PDF's?

Any comment on the matter would be greatly appreciated.
