The makefiles in the toolchain folders point to http://palm.cdnetworks.net, which is no longer on-line. Files are now on http://downloads.help.palm.com, similar to the doctor makefile problem that was recently closed.
I'm too well acquainted with git (or any management system for that matter). If this is a bad method of posting issues, I apologize.
