Update SRC_GIT urls #44

Closed Herrie82 closed 5 years ago

Herrie82 commented 5 years ago

git.webos-internals.org was decommissioned quite a while ago. Most things have been imported into wosigh, therefore pointing to there for now, so builds will at least work.

@rwhitby I imported the legacy git.webos-internals.org to wosigh account because I didn't have credentials/access to do this for the webos-internals account. Ideally these should be in the webos-internals GitHub account. I'm happy to migrate them across or to give you access to do so. ka6sox said he would discuss with you quite some time ago, however to date seems other things got in between.

I'm happy to proceed with the current changes, but also happy to move the repos to webos-internals and rework.

Goal here is to get the Preware feeds to build again on the updated build infrastructure.

I've temporarily made you an owner. Please create repositories and set access rights so that you can continue work without needing to be an owner.

rwhitby commented 5 years ago

Let's keep the non-core applications at wosigh rather than webos-internals. Let me know when you no longer need to be an owner at webos-internals.

@rwhitby Thanks for swift reply, where would you put the boundary between core and non-core? Games are non-core I'd say. Apps with an org.webosinternals appID are core, others non-core?`

In that case I'd have the following divide: core: kernel-patches KeyBoss Speechd FreeTether gsmwav Impostah lunamanager navit navit-maps oldmodeswitcher saverestore showprops terminal wirc xserver zcorder hello upstartmanager locale ledmanager upstartmgr

non-core: tetricrisis drbattery (though this should be core I'd say?) duke3d fishfillets jstop (though this should be core I'd say?) myflashlight netstat ntpsync sdldoom sdlquake stella supertux terminus tiddlywiki visualboyadvance wolui ompload sets

rwhitby commented 5 years ago

Core apps are those that have org.webosinternals.* appid.

Herrie82 commented 5 years ago

@rwhitby OK my divide is fine then. Will work on that basis and let you know once done.

Herrie82 commented 5 years ago

@rwhitby OK seems I'm done with what needed to be done. Not 100% sure about https://github.com/wosigh/kernel which seems to have been a predecessor of https://github.com/webos-internals/webos-linux-kernel but I wasn't around back then in the scene, so not 100% sure.

I've transferred 30 or so repos from wosigh to webos-internals. I've added "Legacy webOS Maintenance Team"-team (write permissions) to all repos (previously exisiting ones and newly transferred ones) in webos-internals now. I've made "core" (which means you and ka6sox) admin for all newly added repos.

I reorganized the wIRC repo a bit (renamed original wIRC to wIRC-old, and transferred the one from wosigh which had releases, tags etc and imported the 2 commits that were in wIRC-old and not in wIRC.
