"Permission denied" #144

I'm trying to transfer roms to retroarch, but it won't allow me to upload files. Is this because my tv isn't rooted? If so, is there a workaround? I don't want to root my tv.

Where are you trying to upload them? You should have permission to write to pretty much any directory under /media/developer, although not to /media/developer itself.

Have you rebooted the TV (with Quick Start+ disabled etc. or using the reboot feature in Homebrew Channel settings) since installing RetroArch?

same problem, disabled Quick Start+ already, but still don't have permission

to all the folks struggling with this, you'll have to connect an external USB to the tv to play the roms. although, writing permissions are still absent.
