Blackbar Detection always disabled after restart #14

I am running the latest version on my CX OLED TV. I noticed that "Blackbar Detection" setting will not survive a restart. Everything I turn on the TV, "Blackbar Detection" is always disabled. Actually same thing applies to "USB Capture" which is always enabled after restart.

I am also on a CX OLED and for me the Blackbar Detection stays on even after reboot. To disable „USB Capture“ i can‘t find a permanent setting as the one under „Remote“ is only temporary?

Usb capture might be not available in webos build, maybe usb capture is v4l?

jep i also think this is the case for usb capturing … can‘t disable because its not even in the build. also seen in the logs. So maybe only a wrong shown indicator for usb capturing.

I am also on latest build of HyperHDR, and my TV is OLED55C11LB. I have a same behavior that Blackbar Detection goes OFF after restart. I was think this is the normal behavior, cause Explanation in UI says that All changes are lost after a restart.....

.....so I am confused now, cause @rossiniscarface said that his TV saving changes after restart. I would like to have it always ON, is there some setting I can tweak to approach this?

Thx.

I am on LG OLED77C19LA and have the same issue. Black bar indicator is always red after start despite being activated. Only in remote settings I can turn it on to green temporarily. However, the black bar detection seems to work nevertheless. For me it's more toggle on or off or changing the detection settings does not cause any different behaviour. Furthermore in darker scenes with static lights for more than 3 seconds the detection crops everything until close to the light source in the picture, even if it is far from the outer edges and the surrounding area is not black. Lowering the threshold doesn't change that.
