No capture from internal sources #110

Hi,

I am new to WebOS and piccap. First of all thank you for this amazing project!

Since a couple of days I am running the rooted WebOS "board_type": "O20_DVB", "hardware_id": "HE_DTV_W20O_AFABABAA", "product_id": "OLED65CX9LA", "core_os_release": "5.4.2-25", "webos_manufacturing_version": "04.40.70" with piccap 0.4.3, and Hyperion.NG 0.1.10 connected via WIFI to an ESP8266 running an up to date WLED (default project, no fork).

Capturing works well on the TV's external channels such as from my fire TV or satellite box. But on the internal sources such as Netflix app or YouTube app the backlight is not working. I checked in the Hyperion web configuration trying to show the live video but that also is just black for internal sources. However it does work when switching to the TV's home dashboard, but not in the apps.

I did not see any error logs coming up. Any ideas of what I could try next?

Thanks for your help

Video material with DRM content from internal apps is unfortunately no longer captured by PicCap on newer devices. The only solution is to feed Netflix and Co. externally via HDMI. Since there are no DRM restrictions via HDMI.
