Subtitle button not working #26

The Subtitle button is not working.

What do you mean by not working? Does it not open subtitle selection view? Or just the subtitles after selecting the language are not showing up? Which webOS TV version are you on? (Settings > General > About This TV > TV Information)

When I press the Subtitle button on the remote, the Subtitle selection menu doesn't show. I'll post the TV information later, I'm not at home right now.

I'm on version 04.30.50.

Never had a problem with the official app.

Also, when I use the software button CC on the YouTube movie itself, the Subtitle menu shows up. But the button on the remote is not working, nothing happens.

Just tested the remote's subtitle button on Netflix. It works like normal.

Ahhhh! That's something I completely forgot. I don't have subtitle button on my current (magic) remote, will need to get replacement batteries for the original "dumb" remote I still have somewhere. I'll try to figure this out sometime later.

OK, this is... suboptimal. Seems like webapps do not get Subtitles button event on webOS 3.8 at least. I'll look around if that's fixed in newer webOS versions.
