I can confirm this, brave seems super slow for the things it does support as well.

is the issue you are running into on webspaces.space or a local copy? Brave seems to work fine for me, but you have to turn on the file system access API for local editing. (See https://github.com/webspace-sdk/webspace-engine/issues/99)
