Right click context menu gives an option to open a torrent management dialog that would give more traditional torrent management options

There are many features that would make webtorrent killer. Most of them would fall under doing things a more traditional desktop client would do, but I see how shimming those features into the current UI would be difficult. So the idea is to pull those features into a different space that can focus more on functionality over appearance and not be concerned with fitting in the current UI.

This would create a reasonable gradient toward implementing file grouping by folder, sorting by size, sorting by percent completion, group actions, as well as general torrent info. It would also provide a step toward making it possible to have an optional starting dialog upon new adds.

Even if the first version of the dialog were basic I think it would help.

My own instinct if I were building this project would be targeting qbittorrent features in order of ease and usefulness.
+1 for launching the dialog into a completely separate window. It would kind of be nice if the media playing were a separate window anyway so that torrent management could be done while a video plays instead of exiting.
