LiveReload doesn't connect #16

I'm using the chrome extension and when I click the LR button I get this in the console:

Waiting...Tue Dec 11 2012 09:07:10 GMT-0800 (PST) Connection accepted.
Received Message: {"command":"hello","protocols":["http://livereload.com/protocols/connection-check-1"]}

but the circle doesn't go solid and updates to files aren't reflected in the browser.

I have similar problems using FF LiveReload ext getting

"Cannot connect to LiveReload server: ws://localhost:35729/websocket"

when enabling it. I have grunt v0.3.17. ..or do I need to have grunt 4.0 ?

yes it looks like you need grunt 0.4
