Summary of progress on August 1, 2021

So far, the project has met the basic requirements for picture messages, attachment messages, and contact information display. In addition, we have also explored a simple deployment scheme(#89 ) for personal computers that does not rely on domain names, and is expected to implement multi-bridge deployment on the basis of this scheme.

the Matrix Server of the Wechaty Community

I plan to deploy a matrix server for the Wechaty Community. It should be accessible within and outside China at the beginning and can add contacts from other matrix servers(federation function). We should discuss its domain name, mailbox server, and whether to open the registration function.

Project Test

Our software fulfills the basic requirements, but there are more potential problems. I hope to invite some users to test them. Based on easy-matrix-wechaty, we can provide at least two test solutions: 1. Deploy multiple easy-matrix-wechaty on the server and expose the corresponding ports for users to test; 2. Users can deploy on their personal computers easy-matrix-wechaty test. If we need to discuss how to find and treat test users, There seems to be some interest in it.

@ericmigi Thank you for your support and encouragement. You can provide support for the planned servers through open collective. We will also promote beeper when we promote the community matrix and this project. At the same time, you are welcome to make more suggestions.
