The capability for an individual to search for and join a group of his/her personal interests is a feature that I would like to have in social apps. Besides, it would also be nice for groups to connect to other groups of similar interests through a centralized platform. Suppose our bot lives in a lot of groups that are willing to connect (may achieve this feature by bonding a personal account with an official account?), then we will be able to:
(1) Collect group chats to analyze the interests of each group (Topic modeling)
(2) Match similar groups / recommend groups to individuals (Personalized recommendation)
(3) Bootstrap from the collected chats across different groups to build topic-grounded conversational AI to enrich future group chats. (Dialogue generation).
