Hi, By looking at changes, I don't see what was wrong for the current version of WeeChat, could you please explain the changes? Thanks.

Unfortunately, it's been a while since I've used weechat, and I had made the change in 2020 and it was necessary because in the last updates the names of some functions had been changed and it was no longer working. I did the merge request without testing because looking at the code it didn't seem to me that there had been any changes that made the merge not useful. From what you tell me instead, I deduce that my modification is not useful. If the situation with respect to 2020 has been fixed so that you don't have the problem I had in 2020 then my modification is not needed. I apologize for the untested merge
