duplicate select_TS function #33

There's a select_TS in LDATS and one in MATSS-LDATS. The MATSS-LDATS one is having problems with error handling. I'm experimenting now to see what breaks if we remove the one in MATSS-LDATS and just use the one in LDATS....(which we should probably do anyway.)

See 1dfa0ee. It works fine to just use the one from LDATS.
