@stevemunch and I discussed what we wanted to do:
there's interest in writing a response/rebuttal to Ward et al., but it's not clear that anyone else cares?
what might be more useful to the ecological community is:
consistent framework for doing forecasting and evaluating forecasts (per #11)
discussion of what predicts forecast skill (per #11)
some sort of conceptual tree of forecasting methods and how they're related -- does this also help guide selecting a forecast method in a novel scenario?
