testing that github can handle the volume of files created via the new system

fyi @henrykironde the tests are failing now because cast_id is now allowed to be non-integer (to manage the backwards compatibility there are decimal places involved now). so i think the test need to be updated. cast_id must be numeric but can be non-integer.
