had a session on the touch. just writing my thoughts:

a few audio pops here and there in "normal play" (playing the song with fills/fx) but it's barely noticeable
When you mix a new track whilst the new track is LOADING the interface can freeze up/become unresponsive for a second and the audio may drop a few notes. This is somewhat noticeable. On one occasion this caused the drum sound to change whilst in the mix & the top of the app was drawn incorrectly (it looked like it was in NON mix mode with one centralised title and the menu/mix buttons visible)
At the point the mix finishes there is the most noticeable freeze up and the audio can mess up. This is issue is exaggerated if you are playing fills effects. It might be to do with unloading.

It would be good to do a bit of experimenting to see what actually causes these problems - even if they're not fixable.

could consider reducing the length of some of the SFX ... could reduce loading time for touch.

my feeling is mostly u only listen to the very beginning for some + plus the delay.

additionally - we could just the same SFX and not unload / load

would help load a fair bit i imagine.
