Emails do not arrive #3

Describe the bug Sign-up verification and reset password emails do sometimes not arrive for some providers.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Make a web.de or gmx email account
  2. Sign up to WeGlide with the gmx or web.de email
  3. Check inbox and spam folder

Expected behavior All emails should arrive.

Affected email providers:

Further information gmx and web de are based on the same infrasturcture, maybe t-online as well. Further investigation shows this is a common problem between amazons simple email service and united internet member email providers. This bug is not reliable reproducable.

Possible cause out of our control: Full inbox or blocked because of missing rDNS or cold IPs provided by SES.

Until we have a fix, please use an alternate email adress or contact us at support@weglide.org and we will activate your account manually. Pleasebe aware that the password reset is also affected.

This is propably resolved now. We will close this issue if there are no more complaints in the next two days.
