Crash scrolling list in new iOS VM #1284

I have a list of 1732 albums, the list entry displays a small cover shot and a 
brief description of the album.

It starts scrolling great, fast and smooth. Then it starts to slow down and 
gets very jerky, then boom I am back on the home screen.

The point I am at in the list when it crashes is different every time but I 
have never made it to the end of the list.

Unfortunately crash reports are useless in debugging VM issues. We need code to 
reproduce. I'm guessing this is related to the the regression reported in issue 
1279
