I think we can include XyJax
into the set of loaded packages.
Any progress for XyJax?
I’m highly interested in an integration of XyJax too … Is there any chance of an future update getting this done? Would appreciate a short answer. Thank’s!!
Hi, I disconnected completely over the holidays. I'll try to get this done soon, though if you have time I'd also encourage you to give it a try, the code is quite short.
Thanks for the prompt answer! Well, in fact I already took a look at the code, but I have to confess, I didn’t even see where/how you managed the integration of mhchem and bussproofs … so I’ll be looking forward to an update of your plugin.
Hi everyone. Any progress on this? I tried to include this extension in the source code, but it didn't work. I guess it's not that easy. This extension will play an important role in my notes since I am learning category theory. I really hope we can make this.
@faro1219: I would appreciate the integration of xyjax too … tried to get into the source code of Extended MathJax but failed. As a temporal workaround I do the commutative diagrams in Typora and embed them in Obsidian as screenshots. @xldenis: Is there a chance of a future update supporting xyjax?
I'll try to find time to do it, I won't lie, my motivation to work on this plugin has lowered quite a bit as I've stopped needing to type as much latex in obsidian.
Thanks, @xldenis. If you figure out how to include this plug-in, that would be a huge contribution to the math community using obsidian. I will encourage all my professors and schoolmates to try this software.
Hi @xldenis, any advances in the xypic (xyjax) support? That is important in a variety of mathematical writing topics.
Hi, as I've said on other threads and on the read me, I'm no longer maintaining this project and would be happy to hand it off to a new, loving, responsible owner.
Hi, Im also interested in this possibility. Hope someone find a solution.
From what I understand, unlike mhchem
and bussproof
, the extension xyjax
is not included in the main extensions of MathJax: https://docs.mathjax.org/en/latest/input/tex/extensions/index.html.
I wonder if this is what making it difficult to include this extension in Obsidian. In any case, I'm looking forward to see an update to this feature. I'm sure the mathematical community would be grateful for this.
Could we get support for XyJax?
In fact, this has already been mentioned in the issue asking for custom extensions, but it sounded like that was hard to accomplish. Personally, I would already be quite happy if the package XyJax was supported by default.
