Prompt to reload changed file when rotating screen #58

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Turn on Auto save
2. Type something into an existing file
3. Rotate your screen

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
It says the file changed and I have to tap to reload it. That shouldn't happen.
It happens every time I make a change and rotate the screen, unless I save the
file first.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
2014.07 with pro key and root connector. The problem started when I updated
jota. Not sure which version I was on before.
android 4.4.2 cyanogenmod

Please provide any additional information below.

Auto-save saves the file when rotating, then jota thinks another app changed
it. Probably not necessary to auto-save in this case.

Could be something specific to my phone, like slow storage or my rom. Is
anyone else seeing it?

This is an alarming incident. After editing a file, a pop-up appeared saying
another application changed the document, '...do you want to load it?. I said
no. Is it possible there is malware keeping track of my jota files and sending
the changes over the internet?
