multi-threading with OpenMP is NOT enabled! #89

When I'm running cd-hit with multithreading I get the following warning:

Option -T is ignored: multi-threading with OpenMP is NOT enabled!

Any way to enable multithreading on my computer? (I've installed cd-hit via conda few days ago)

I have the same issue, I also installed using conda.

I think this is the only option with conda. I've installed it not via conda and to do multithreading

I have a system where neither Docker nor compilation are an option without going through extensive wall times with system admins and alike :( The conda install option was really the best way to go, but withouth OpenMP support through that it's problematic.

I have a suggestion: why not keep two versions on conda? One with OpenMP, the other without.

I am wondering how to install cd-hit with OpenMP ; I used panaroo but it showed Option -T is ignored: multi-threading with OpenMP is NOT enabled! Your word length is 2, using 5 may be faster!
