@phadej do you know why the job for 9.4.0 fails? alpha1 works fine, but alpha2 doesn't :thinking:

If you add distribution: focal or distribution: jammy then it should work. (default bionic is there for older GHCs. I'll bump default ditribution to focal in haskell-ci when bionic is EOLd, which is soon but not just yet: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Releases April 2023).
