(Still want to be careful of editing metadata in Alpha, right?)
Yeah, it's a bug with my parsing of the Wikipedia intro paragraph into sentences (which has to do things like removing footnote references). Will fix.

Moving this to 'for alpha' because it's stuff like this that people will notice first.
This isn't on every People page, and it doesn't seem to correspond to double full-stops in the Wikipedia entry either. Here are three examples:
