Following #5791 we need to better understand whether the Graph Model is still aligned with our understanding of user needs.

We should:

Decouple the graph model from any perceived technical constraints or considerations
Identify edge directionality
Assess existing nodes
produce a draft of a new graph model

Now part of #5802
