It is in such times when one must accept that, sometimes, SVG images are significantly larger than PNG images, and the tradeoff between crispiness of vector rendering and the complexity of bitmaps tips to the other side.
This PR swaps the SVG logo image for a PNG, because it's like 75% smaller even at 1000px width. We keep the SVG in the repo for future reference.
Also fixes a tiny display issue with the boomerang embed.
