What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. opkg remove uclibc

opkgs version string: opkg-4564-3

Hi,

just made a little mistake on my wrt54gl...i accidentaly remove uclibc,
wouldn't it be nice to have a feature in opkg that warns instead of just
removing such a essential package?

Behaviour afterwards:

root@OpenWrt:/bin# ls
-ash: ls: not found

really a pity, i do have to reinstall, but wanted you guys to know :)

Best,
Hauke

Surely this is a packaging bug. The package should have "Essential: yes" in its
control file.
