Which is the right version pyserial to install?

In README.md it states "IMPORTANT: It is highly recommended to use PySerial version 3.x on Python 2 and 3."
However, requirements.txt has "pyserial ~= 2.7"

That's a great question, the version in setup.py works well for me (ie latest version). However, if you try, please issue a PR so we can fix the requirements or the README to what works.

For me, it is working with pyserial 3.4, as the readme suggests.
