Program cannot exit gracefully after using `gc` command #1

Description

Program is not able to terminate after using the gc command and using the graphing function, unless ctrl-c is used to stop the program forcefully.

Details

Command(s) used:
1. gc
2. yx
3. exit
4. exit
Expected result: Program should exit gracefully and not need ctrl-c to stop
Actual result: Prorgam stucks when running the final exit to terminate from the program
