when i test youtube video with 780p and 1080p the video don't play so well even with intel core i5 2540m, 2nd gen of course and cpu it's not max to 100%

Zero3K commented 1 year ago

Maybe it is not using hardware acceleration.

i have intel hd graphics 3000 installed, it supposed to play 780p and 1080p just fine like other browsers for xp that i test it

Zero3K commented 1 year ago

I mean, this build is probably using software acceleration instead of hardware acceleration.

I am able to play https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pxvsS0MV-cY at full speed under Windows 10 being ran on a GPD WIN MAX 2.

Something completely wrong with VP9 decoding: playback stutter even with 240p! Load does not exceed 20% on AMD FX-8300. Video in H.264/AVC 1 up to 1080p playing fine. Checked on Youtube with enhanced-h264ify extension. HW acceleration not working, at all, but this shouldn't be a problem for such CPU.

I always found browser's software playback faulty compared to a media player software. Use mypal68 for Youtube, it supports hardware acceleration.
