Apache Linkis project is a computing middleware project under the ecosystem of WeDataSphere open source big data platform. It gets through multiple computing storage engines and provides powerful connectivity, reuse, orchestration, expansion and governance and control capabilities. The overcomputing middleware decouples the application layer and engine layer, simplifies the complex network call relationship, reduces the overall complexity, and saves the overall development and maintenance costs.
By using Linkis provide the REST/WebSocket/JDBC standard interface, the upper application can be easily connected to access MySQL/Spark/Hive/Presto/Flink underlying engine, at the same time realize variable, scripts, functions, and resource files, such as the user resources across the upper application.
Since the open source launch of Linkis in 2019, it has accumulated more than 700 trial enterprises and 1000+ sandbox trial users, involving finance, telecommunications, manufacturing, Internet and other industries. Many companies have taken Linkis as the unified entrance of the underlying computing and storage engine of the big data platform, and a powerful tool for the governance and control of computing requests/tasks.
