Channel not responding #1

Starting a video stream from the plex interface gives a "This channel is not responding." message.

The authentication seems to be working fine however, since the log messages returns a URL that is working fine in VLC.

I know that the first time your start the plugin (or after a long time activity) the first screen is not loaded. Still trying to figure out why that is the case. But the second time it works fine for me. What OS are you running Plex on?

Ubuntu 14.04.

I do get the overview, but the stream itself doesn't start.

I have a server running on a Raspberry Pi and MacBook. On the RP it is working, on the MacBook I experience a similar problem as you. I noticed a slight difference in the Plex Server version number. RP is running version 1.5.6.3790 while the MacBook is running version 1.5.5.3634. What server version are you running on Ubuntu?

The latest 1.7.2 I think.

I compared with my working version, the difference in system.log file. In your log it shows "DEBUG (services:618) - No matching services found for XXX", while in my log it says "DEBUG (services:616) - Found a service matching for XXX". This is strange as in the stieve.log file it says that a service is found for a similar URL.

I close the issue as it seems to be similar as in the VRT_NU plugin. We will try to find the cause in that thread.
