Odd whitespace is appearing between the cursor and the characters #18

The problem scales as the cursor moves horizontally along the terminal, getting a little bit bigger each character. After testing all the font options in this repo, the cursor will now move backwards into the text, see attached image. Using source code pro. This font worked for a while but has been broken for a month or so now. Please help! screenshot 2018-11-30 at 1 45 43 pm

Try restarting your machine / using another (of the many) fonts. I remember having a similar issue of 1 character difference between cursor and text but didn't happen recently and before it went away after restarting.
