Greetings, StoryLiner Enthusiasts!

Among the feature requests I regularly receive from you, certain ones come up quite often. So here is a list of the features that received a high priority in the to do list, all along with important ones that were already planned.

Note that this is not exactly a roadmap, and I cannot give ETAs.

You can vote and then increase the priority of a feature by adding a "👍" to the post of the features you would like.

Batch rename of the shots

A tool that will allow to rename all the shots of the current edit in one click to reflect their position in the edit.

Incremental output folders

Being able to render in new folders, with a name that has an index that will be incremented for every new rendering.

Currently renderings are done in a directory named from the edit name and with a content that is flushed every time a new rendering is done. Note that this is by design: when you work with an asset tracker in production and those renderings are pushed to the server, this approach ensure that there is no doubt about what are the latest files.

Nevertheless, having the ability to have incremented local render folders would be also very helpful.

Support for Blender 4.2

This doesn't sound like a feature, but it is an necessity. Some important work has to be done on the code side to make StoryLiner packages compatible with the new Extension system of Blender 4.2.
