I recently listened to the How to Slam Dunk Freelancing episode of the syntax podcast and have been curious by the value based pricing ever since. Here in the UK I commonly see daily rates/ per project rates. Couple questions if you don't mind 😄
How do they differ from traditional per-project pricing? I guess this is really just your hourly/daily rate * your estimate and buffer.
How do you determine the value that a piece of work will provide for the client? Do you do this with them? Or use previous discussions with other clients?
