Can someone also please update the release on PyPI for pip, as that release is still on version 0.0.40 and the latest version here is 0.0.8? Is this an issue for lack of administrative access, or lack of a maintainer/packager to review the changes?

@skreutzer As PyPi doesnt seem to be maintained, I suggest you run the code directly on Github

Thank for the PR, I will merge into the project as it seems good to me, but I have to say that this project is not actively maintained.
