its not working. it just shows "Add a sensor.." but it is not possible to add a 
sensor there.

You need to add it by right clicking on the sensor in the main window and then 
select "Show in Gadget". I think I will add short instructions instead of the 
"Add a sensor..." text, to make things more clear.
