The alternatives can either be a part of the tutorial itself at the very end, or a separate page entirely.
I'm leaning towards part of the tutorial if only to take the tutorial code and show how it can be done with the alternatives. Though that could also done if it was on it's own, I kind of like the idea of someone going through the tutorial, see the improvements that django-simple-nav
brings, then finishing with 'here are other ways to approach the same thing'. Gives a nice overall arc to the tutorial I would think.
