Question on Badge font size #229

Hello, I was just wondering why the need to have a font-size: 14px; on the badge? Thank you

This is coming from Bootstrap, which uses font-size-small for badges.

Most likely this is to achieve better visual balance and vertical alignment between the badge and the related element.
