The hot topic feature just seems like useless clutter to me. This issue is very low priority. I could be convinced to leave it in.

I like the idea of hot topics but I think the way it works currently (based on total number of posts) is pretty dumb. It should be based on the score of the post or how much recent activity there's been or maybe there should be some sort of indicator showing how many people have been banned from the thread? xD
