Hey have you found a work-around yet?

I am experiencing the same issue with a H6159 LED strip. It's detected by govee2mqtt, correctly listed in devices, and its status (on/off) is correctly detected in home assistant, but I cant't control the light. Tried restarting the service and HA, but no luck.

I also noticed that in Google Home (I have the Google integration in HA) if I try controlling the light it won't work, but if I use a voice command to turn on/off "bedroom lights" (so, all lights in that area), then it will respond.

I have several other Govee LED strips (I haven't checked but I'm pretty sure they all are H6159) and the only thing I did differently during the installation of the one that does not work was renaming it in the Govee app before adding it to home assistant and before turning on the LAN control.

I'm not sure it has indeed anything to do with the issue, but I'm gonna try to remove the light (from HA and Govee) then add it again without renaming it. If it works, I'll follow up.

Same issue with H6163

Of note, the mac address in the logs does not match the actual mac address of the strip for me. Not sure if this matters, but may be the culprit?

My environment is all dockerized. All other lights work. When the light is turned on manually or via govee app, state is updated in HA. Brightness % is also incorrect just for H6163 (10% reads as 28%; 26% = 68% 39%+ = 100).

Just adding here to say that I'm another person with an H6159 LED strip who also has this issue.

govee2mqtt detects the device, but none of the controls actually seem to work.

My other Govee devices are working fine.
