Ability to switch pane layouts #3516

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. I've opened a vertical pane and shortly afterwards I realise I'd like the pane to be horizontal

Describe the solution you'd like To be able to reorganise the orientation of the panes

Describe alternatives you've considered Close vertical pane and open a horizontal one

Additional context In tmux you can do -space which cycles through different layouts. This handles more complex cases with more than two panes.
