If you add a line rewrap to the end of a line within a no-wrap section, it will wrap at one more than the default setting for the document. E.g. 73 characters instead of 72.
For example:

results in a line length of 73

I get the same result with all of the following constructs: headers (.h1, etc.), captions (.ca), centering (.nf c), right justification (.rj and .nf r), and left justification (.nf l). I can't think of a common use case for left justification, but it is still available.
