GaiaUnlimited selection function library #978

The EC GaiaUnlimited project has release a public python library for use in computing the Gaia survey selection function, which is likely to be important to our users in statistical analyses of the data. The code is available on GitHub but the release status is not clear to me: https://github.com/gaia-unlimited/gaiasf

Update on likely release schedule: the next version is likely to be released in the early summer (and at the latest, by the next GU community workshop later in the year). So we should watch out for the next release soon.
